Houston offensive coordinator Major Applewhite said Farrow (ankle) is not 100 percent healthy, Houston Chronicle writer Joseph Duarte reports.
ANALYSIS
Farrow will likely play against Florida State on Thursday, but Applewhite's claim implies he won't see a full workload. In a bad matchup, it's further reason to have modest expectations for Farrow.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2013
2012
Charles Sims' surprise exit from the Houston football program leaves a big opportunity up for grabs, and it would seem as if Farrow is the obvious choice to fill that role. Farrow was promising as a freshman in 2012, finishing the year with 466 yards and two touchdowns on the ground (5.4 YPC) and 20 catches for 165 yards and a touchdown. Sims' exit leaves a shortage of 142 carries and 37 catches, so Farrow should be very busy in his sophomore season. Ryan Jackson is in the hunt to take Sims' role, as well, but Farrow seems to have the upper hand after averaging more than a yard more per carry than Jackson.
Charles Sims, who averaged 7.5 yards per carry last season, is the set-in-stone starter for Houston, but Farrow appears to be next in line. Houston tends to have dynamic offenses and has granted fantasy relevance to multiple Houston runners in past years, so Farrow is someone to consider selecting in deep leagues and should be owned in all Conference-USA-only leagues.
