Carries rushing workload Week 11
Allen logged 20 rushes for 98 yards and one touchdown and caught one of two targets for eight yards during Saturday's 35-6 win over Washington.
ANALYSIS
Allen capped off this win when he scored a one-yard rushing touchdown with just under five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. This marked his fifth rushing touchdown of the season - all of which have come across the last six games. He also logged 20-plus carries for just the second time this season compared to just seven for Nicholas Singleton, who apparently did not finish the game. With Singleton's status up in the air, Allen could be in line for an increased workload once again during next week's game at Purdue. However, he'll still likely have to compete with No. 2 quarterback Beau Pribula and do-it-all tight end Tyler Warren for scoring opportunities on the ground.
