Brown announced Thursday via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to FCS Jackson State, joining the program as a graduate transfer from Virginia Tech.
ANALYSIS
For his seventh and final year of eligibility in 2023, Brown will move on to his fourth school and should have a chance to compete for a starting role while dropping down to the FCS ranks. Jackson State has a vacancy at quarterback, after star signal-caller Shadeur Sanders made the jump to Colorado earlier this offseason with father and former Jackson State head coach Deion Sanders, who accepted the Buffaloes' head job. Brown appeared in just three games for Virginia Tech during his lone season with the program in 2022, completing seven of 13 attempts for 65 yards.
