Past Fantasy Outlooks
2012
2010
Johnson has played in the shadows of Jermaine Kearse and Devin Aguilar, and more recently the recruiting hoopla of Kasen Williams and Austin Seferian-Jenkins, but he could emerge as Washington's top receiver in 2012. He caught 28 passes for 366 yards and four touchdowns last year, and the veteran will have much more targets heading his way with both Kearse and Aguilar gone to graduation. Johnson should be drafted in Pac-12-only leagues and monitored closely in most other formats, too.
Johnson performed very well as a freshman last year, snagging 39 passes for 422 yards and three touchdowns. He faces a great deal of competition for catches in the Washington offense, but his physical talent could give him an advantage over his veteran competition. Johnson won't beat out Jermaine Kearse for catches at any point, but he might be able to hold off Devin Aguilar, Kavario Middleton and D'Andre Goodwin in the food chain. He isn't worth much investment at the start of the season, but he's someone to keep an eye on and is definitely worth drafting in Pac-10-only leagues.
