Feely will take three years of eligibility with him to Colorado after he took a redshirt as a true freshman at Arizona State in 2021 before appearing in four games for the Sun Devils in 2022. He served as Arizona State's No. 2 kicker and made his lone extra-point try on the season, but Feely and Jackson State transfer Alejandro Mata will both get the chance to compete for the top spot on the depth chart at Colorado in 2023. According to Tyler King of The Denver Gazette, Feely underwent an emergency heart surgery in March, but he's since received full medical clearance and has resumed football activities.
