2022 Fantasy Outlook
Colombi's college career has been a long, winding road. He began at Utah State, and then moved to Texas Tech. However, he was not able to grab onto the starting job there, mostly seeing the field in a backup role. At times, thoug he has shown potential. Last season he stepped in to start against Texas and tossed for 324 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception. Now, he's with his third team, hoping to end his college career on a high note with the Thundering Herd. Former Marshall quarterback Grant Wells made the jump to Virginia Tech, leaving the starting role open. Colombi is the expected starter, given his experience at a higher level of FBS football. Conference USA is not as tough as the Big 12. Will this be the place where Colombi finally emerges as a legitimate starter? It's his last chance, but the upside is there.
