Darby didn't opt out of the season as previously reported, but he isn't with the team for Saturday's game against Oregon State due to a family matter, Doug Haller of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The end result for Saturday remains the same, as Arizona State is operating without its top wideout in what could potentially be the season finale. Darby has six catches for 46 yards and one touchdown in two games this season.

2020 Fantasy Outlook
Darby gave you a lot of bang for your buck last season. While he only had 31 catches, the receiver finished with 616 yards and eight touchdowns. That meant the redshirt junior averaged 19.9 yards per carry. Still, fantasy players will be hoping for the now-senior to have more touches. There’s reason to expect that in 2020. For starters, Brandon Aiyuk has moved on to the NFL. Second, last year the Sun Devils were starting a true freshman in Jayden Daniels. A more-experienced quarterback, and more targets, could make Darby a breakout player if he can keep up his big-play potential.
