2018 Fantasy Outlook
Patmon became a more involved cog in 2017, as he hauled in 35 grabs for 379 yards but was held without a score. He delivered with some of his better performances down the stretch of the season, recording 10 catches for 102 yards over his last two games against worthy opponents (Utah and Washington). Kyle Sweet and Renard Bell figure to be the chain-moving inside receivers in coach Mike Leach's system, but Patmon (6-4, 220) has a prime frame to become the Cougs' top target on the outside and in the red zone. With Washington State among the leaders in passing yards (367.3 per game, ranked second in FBS), Patmon should garner just enough targets to be considered as a low-end fantasy wideout in most leagues, given he’s yet to find the end zone in his young collegiate career.
