McDaniel announced his decision to enter the NCAA transfer portal via his X account Thursday.

ANALYSIS
McDaniel will enter the protal following a single season with UNLV. The freshman receiver appeared in four games for the Rebels in 2024, failing to record a counting stat in that time. McDaniel did not play in UNLV's 24-13 victory over Cal in the Art of Sports LA Bowl. He will retain four years of eligibility at his next destination.
