Joining FCS ranks
Kelley announced Saturday via his personal Twitter account that he would continue his playing career at Southeastern Louisiana.
ANALYSIS
The former Arkansas signal-caller left the program in December after ceding the starting role to Ty Storey. By moving on to an FCS school, Kelley will be able to compete immediately at his next stop. He'll have a final year of college eligibility in 2020, so it's possible he'll move back to an FBS school if he fares well during the upcoming season with Southeastern Louisiana.

2018 Fantasy Outlook
Kelley stepped in for the injured Austin Allen as a redshirt freshman last season and had some quality moments, including a three-touchdown performance in a thrilling victory at Ole Miss at the end of October. Kelley was subsequently arrested in November for DWI, though, and did not see the field in the final two games of the season. Looking for a fresh start with Allen gone, Kelley will battle redshirt sophomore Ty Storey for the starting job. Kelly should have plenty of weapons if he seizes the starting job, and coach Chad Morris should let the pigskin fly. At 6-foot-7, 260-lbs, Kelley has all the physical tools, but it remains to be seen if he has the mental capacity to handle the starting gig.
