Bolar had a nice 2018 campaign as the third option behind Kalija Lipscomb and tight end Jared Pinkney. Bolar hauled in 34 passes for 440 yards and two touchdowns as a freshman. Both Lipscomb and Pinkney returned to school, leaving the Commodores with a talented group of pass catchers. Unfortunately, due to the departure of Kyle Shurmur they will be working in a new quarterback. Whether Riley Neal, Deuce Wallace or Mo Hasan, there will likely be an adjustment period. As a result, Bolar's production could take a hit early on.
