Officially in transfer portal
Robison announced via his Twitter on Sunday morning that he will be entering the transfer portal after being away from the team this season.
ANALYSIS
Robison was the Owls' starting quarterback over the last two seasons heading into 2020 but departed from the Owls' program in early August for reasons that were never mentioned. It's widely assumed that Robison may have been dismissed from the team due to his troubling history with following rules although there is nothing to actually confirm that. The 6-1 signal-caller was a first-team All-Conference USA recipient in 2019 and came into this season on the Maxwell Award Watch list, an award given to the best player in college football annually. He has the talent to become an immediate starter and now it's up to him to figure out where his next destination will be.

Chris Morgan breaks down the Conference USA landscape in our latest conference preview. Can Middle Tennessee's Asher O'Hara build on a breakout 2019, or is he due to regress?
The appearance of a mediocre matchup is no reason to abandon Proche and the SMU offense in what figures to be a high-scoring Boca Raton Bowl versus Florida Atlantic.
Chris Morgan opens our Conference Preview series for 2019 with a look at Conference USA, where North Texas has taken the title from FAU as the deepest team in terms of fantasy assets.
2019 Fantasy Outlook
Robison's time at FAU has been an up-and-down ride, including time spent suspended during the offseason between his freshman campaign and his upcoming sophomore season. Like a lot of freshmen pushed into a starting role out of the gate, Robison wasn't able to show the poise of a veteran under center. He threw 12 picks to go with 12 touchdowns, though he did add three more touchdowns with his legs. Now he has to deal with Florida State transfer Deondre Francois breathing down his neck. Robison will need to pick up his play, or lose his gig.
