Larry Caper

Le'Veon Bell has the starting job locked down coming into the season, but the backup role is yet to be determined. The senior Caper will fight for that job with sophomore Nick Hill. Both Caper and Hill got about the same amount of playing time last year and neither produced at close to an elite level. Hill averaged 3.9 yards per carry and Caper has actually averaged less than four yards per carry in all three seasons as a Spartan. With a small role and poor efficiency as a runner, Caper is an extreme long shot for fantasy relevance.
