November 24, 2012
Hamilton caught 10 passes for 98 yards against LSU on Friday.
ANALYSIS
Hamilton finishes his Arkansas career with 90 catches for 1,335 yards and five touchdowns in 2012 -- high quality numbers, but a disappointment for the most part. Hamilton was one of the few bright spots for Arkansas this year, but the team's dysfunctional offense held him back.

With Jarius Wright, Joe Adams and Greg Childs gone, a huge opportunity awaits Hamilton in 2012. The exit of the previously mentioned trio leaves a void of 141 receptions in the Arkansas offense, and Hamilton finished last season with 542 yards and four touchdowns even as he battled those three for targets. Quarterback Tyler Wilson is back, so Hamilton’s numbers could really go off.
Hamilton is a very talented player, but on an offense with three other wideouts who could serve as WR1 for many BCS teams, his opportunities are badly limited. Still, Hamilton might be the most talented of the bunch, so he's not a bad late round target in most leagues, while all of the four Arkansas receivers (Hamilton, Greg Childs, Jarius Wright, Joe Adams) are all worth owning in SEC-only leagues.
Hamilton is a good sleeper at wide receiver in SEC-only leagues last year after catching 19 passes for 347 yards and three touchdowns as a freshman last year. He'll have a hard time moving up in Arkansas' loaded receiver lineup, but he might be too good to not receive more opportunities this year.
