Creer suffered an undisclosed injury in the first quarter of Saturday's game against Nevada, LaTechSports.com reports.

ANALYSIS
Hunter Lee took over and impressed, running for 127 yards. Between Lee's emergence and this new injury issue, Creer doesn't look like a good fantasy option in most leagues in the playoff stretch.

For some reason Louisiana Tech’s coaches didn’t give the Tennessee transfer the ball consistently until around midseason, and Creer immediately made them look silly for waiting so long. After getting just 54 carries in the first five weeks, Creer went off for 912 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground in his final seven games. If the Louisiana Tech coaches can be trusted to give him the ball consistently, Creer might be worth ranking higher.

Creer, like teammate Ahmad Paige, is a former Tennessee recruit, and he also had offers from Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma and Texas. Creer should be dynamite in the WAC. Consider him a good bet to be a strong RB2 in WAC-only leagues, and keep note of him in other formats, too.
