Past Fantasy Outlooks
2013

2010
Green led a balanced Tulsa offense that averaged 34.7 points per game en route to capturing the Conference USA title last season. He threw for over 2,500 yards with 17 touchdowns and 11 picks. Green was also a threat on the ground as part of Tulsa’s run-option system, picking up 283 yards (3.6 yards per carry) and four scores. The 6-4 senior has reportedly dropped 15 pounds this offseason, and he’ll look to have an even bigger year in 2013 as the Golden Hurricane attempt to repeat as conference champions.
Green is a Nebraska transfer and former high-ranking recruit who makes for an interesting fantasy prospect as Tulsa's starting quarterback this year. It would be very surprising if he's as good as G.J. Kinne was, but with good running skills Green should at the least make an impact on the ground right away. He should be drafted in most or all leagues due to the upside he has, but given that he never averaged better than 5.7 yards per pass at Nebraska, there's not much reason to expect big passing numbers from Green.
Green was below average as a passer in his freshman year, putting up poor numbers across the board. But those poor numbers weren't that much worse than what starter Zac Lee did, and Green was a far better rusher, averaging over five yards per carry. Look for Green to get his shot this year after Lee falters at some point, but don't feel the need to draft him.
