Luallen, who played both quarterback and wide receiver for Cincinnati last season, leaves spring camp at the wideout spot, where he'll back Anthony McClung on the second team, ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Luallen got game experience last year, splitting time under center with Munchie Legaux after Bearcats' quarterback Zach Collaros got hurt. He rarely threw the ball, notes ESPN.com, but ended up with 135 yards rushing on 22 carries. Comments head coach Butch Davis of Luallen, "He's one of the best athletes we have on our football team. We've got to find a way to get him on the football field." Look for Luallen to make a big impact at wideout in 2012, a position Cincinnati struggled with last season, but also to run a few plays out of the Wildcat to keep opposing defenses off-balance.

2012 Fantasy Outlook
Luallen generally isn't relevant at the quarterback position for Cincinnati, but after emerging as a strong rushing threat last year (6.1 yards per carry) Cincinnati will try to get him the ball at receiver and perhaps running back in 2012. He's someone to keep an eye on in deep and Big East-only leagues.
