Alabama narrowly escaped a loss against Tennessee Saturday afternoon, but was lifted to victory thanks to Tiffin, who ended up hitting four field goals for the Crimson Tide's only points on the day.

Head coach Nick Saban said Wednesday that Tiffin and other place kickers for Alabama will not be allowed to use tape to spot field goals and extra points, this after South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier complained to SEC officials that Tiffin used white tape to spot his kicks during last weekend's matchup between the Crimson Tide and Gamecocks, ESPN.com reports.

While they may have been relatively short field goals, Tiffin hit all five attempts on Saturday, hitting from 21, 21, 22, 25, and 31 yards as Alabama won 22-3.
