Ronald Johnson

Johnson was supposed to blow up in 2009 after averaging 17.27 yards per catch and scoring eight times as a sophomore in 2008, but a collarbone injury robbed him of much of the season, and a freshman quarterback slowed his production after that. Now quarterback Matt Barkley should be much improved, and hopefully Johnson will stay healthy. The absence of two of last year's top pass-catchers in Damian Williams and Anthony McCoy could open up more opportunities for Johnson, who caught just 34 passes for 378 yards and three touchdowns last year. If Barkley can emerge as the big-time quarterback he's supposed to be, Johnson should reestablish himself as a major big-play threat at wideout. Still, his nationwide value is somewhat limited. His utility is only likely to be high in Pac-10-only leagues.
