2018 Fantasy Outlook
Sindelar spent his first two seasons with the Boilermakers redshirting and warming the bench for the Boilermakers, but a new head coach in Jeff Brohm, combined with a weak showing from starter David Blough in 2016, opened an opportunity for the job. Sindelar and Blough both saw time under center during 2017, with Sindelar ending the season as the starter -- and playing through a torn ACL in Purdue's bowl game -- with Blough sidelined due to injury. Despite his absence from spring practice while he continued his rehab, Sindelar may be ready for fall camp. Assuming he's healthy, it wouldn't be surprising to see Brohm continue with the hot hand approach unless one of the two separates himself during the fall session.
