Marchi began the season as Temple's starting quarterback, compiling a 3-4 record while completing 55 percent of his passes for nine touchdowns and eight interceptions. Marchi will be available for play immediately, and he still has two years of eligibility left. East Tennessee State is also returning last year's starter Austin Herink, who completed 56 percent of his passes for 14 touchdowns and six interceptions.
