Darius Wade

Most of Wade's 2015 season, his first as a starter, was spent observing and recovering from a broken ankle suffered in Week 3. He'll enter fall camp competing with Kentucky transfer Patrick Towles for the right to start under center, with new offensive coordinator Scott Loeffler calling the shots. Wade doesn't offer ideal size for a dual-threat quarterback, but Loeffler has the fantasy success of Tim Tebow and Logan Thomas on his resume. Wade's upside isn't nearly that high, and the Eagles also lack playmakers on the perimeter, but a few big games paired with stabilizing the quarterback position in Chestnut Hill seem in store for 2016. RB Jonathan Hilliman - Hilliman appears on track to return from a fractured foot, which limited him to four games as a sophomore. Assuming he's healthy, Hilliman will be the focal point of an Eagles offense that enters fall with a quarterback battle, and no proven pass catchers. More of a volume rusher than a home run hitter, Hilliman is a similar in style to former BC back Andre Williams. While a 2,000+ yard season a la Williams isn’t likely on the horizon, a healthy Hilliman should at least match the 13 touchdowns he scored as a freshman, all while easily bettering the 840 yards he posted in 2014.
