January 13, 2016
Cooper will enter the 2016 NFL Draft.
ANALYSIS
Cooper is a unique prospect, a receiver listed at 5-foot-11, 207 pounds who served as a versatile playmaker for South Carolina. He caught 135 passes for 2,109 yards and 17 touchdowns over the last two years (25 games), getting a lot of extra carries and wildcat snaps on the side, resulting in 311 yards and three rushing touchdowns over the same span. As a primarily slot wideout with extensive experience as a runner behind the line of scrimmage, Cooper's skill set probably most closely resembles those of players like Randall Cobb and Julian Edelman. Like most players, a lot is at stake for Cooper at the Combine -- a strong showing should cement him in the second round, though a disappointing showing there could push him closer to the fourth round.

2015 Fantasy Outlook
Few players can match the multi-skill threat posed by Cooper, who can score as a runner, receiver and passer. Last season, he totaled 69 receptions, 1,136 yards and nine touchdowns while running for 200 yards and two touchdowns. He also threw two touchdowns. Cooper, 5-11, 208, loses graduating quarterback Dylan Thompson this season, but Thompson isn't irreplaceable in an offense coached by Steve Spurrier, and any regression at quarterback should be offset by the increased opportunities Cooper will see this year. South Carolina lost five of its top seven pass catchers from last season, guaranteeing Cooper increased targets.
