Traylon Shead

SMU lost leading rusher Zach Line (1,278 yards, 13 touchdowns) to graduation, but Shead, a Texas transfer, was very impressive in spring workouts. At Navarro Junior College last season, Shead rushed for 1,194 yards and 17 scores after seeing minimal playing time as a Longhorn in 2011. At 6-2, 225 he’s a big back with deceptive quickness who will likely pose a threat in the receiving game as well.
