"It was shocking at first," Johnson said, speaking about the position change. "But at the same time, I'm an athlete and I just want to play football and be on the field. Whatever would get me on the field quicker, I just had to go with it. I took it as a compliment that they thought I could move over and play offense." Johnson will also have to share the load with freshman Matt Jones and Trey Burton, among others. It remains to be seen what kind of impact he will have, or how many touches he will receive.
