Andrew Baggett

With three-year starter Grant Ressel graduated, Baggett will step in as the place kicker for Mizzou in 2012. Mizzou gives its kickers a fair amount of field goal opportunities historically. In 2011, Missouri kickers attempted 25 field goals. In 2010, they attempted 19. In 2009, they attempted 27. On top of that, the Tigers have a propensity for getting into the end zone. Because of that, Tiger kickers attempted 53 extra points in 2011. Missouri moves to the SEC for 2012 and the offense could suffer with tougher defenses on the schedule. That could affect Baggett’s value, but if he gets the same type of opportunities in 2012 as Missouri kickers have in the past, he could have good value. He’s only worth monitoring for now, though.
