Franklin was an elite 2012 receiver, but he was ruled academically ineligible for 2013.
Franklin is a player who heads into 2012 as a justifiable pick in most or all formats, and should be one of the top receivers in WAC-only leagues. He had a fine 2011 season, catching 34 passes for 524 yards and three touchdowns, and he should easily improve on those numbers since Taveon Rogers and Todd Lee graduated after combining for 97 catches in 2011. It would not surprise if Franklin ends up worth starting in most formats.
