Huggins gave the Rutgers program a great deal of hope as a blue chip recruit in 2011, but he has been a huge bust for the Scarlet Knights, running for just 556 yards and seven touchdowns while averaging a miserable 3.2 yards per carry. Huggins seems to have the starting job locked up heading into the fall, so he should have some default value in AAC-only formats, but his horrible production up until now seems to make him close to undraftable in most leagues.

Huggins was one of the nation's elite running back recruits last year, but he was a major disappointment for Rutgers in 2011. Injuries had something to do with it, but Huggins' average of 2.6 yards per carry was atrocious, and particularly unacceptable given all the elusiveness he showed in high school. The less heralded Jawan Jamison was much better than Huggins in 2011 and has to be the favorite to start at running back for Rutgers in 2012.

If Huggins steers clear of the redshirt, he could make an immediate impact as a true freshman this year. He's one of the most elusive running back recruits of recent memory. His seemingly top competition for the role (Jeremy Deering) was a promising wildcat runner last year, but he's still a receiver switching to running back. A timeshare between the two could be ahead.
