Past Fantasy Outlooks

2011
The general consensus seems to be that the Ducks will open up the passing game a bit more under new coach, and former offensive coordinator, Mark Helfrich. That certainly bodes well for Huff, who led the team in receiving last season (32 receptions, 493 yards, seven touchdowns). Huff, along with Keanon Lowe and the versatile D’Anthony Thomas, all return to form one of the most experienced and dynamic receiving corps in the Pac 12.
On paper, Huff should be productive in 2012. The problem is that was the case for 2011, too, and he finished with just 31 catches for 430 yards and two touchdowns. Huff is worth a later pick in Pac-12-only leagues as it is, but if he plays up to his talent level he's capable of doing a lot more than he has to this point. In other formats, though, it's best to just monitor Huff.
With Jeff Maehl gone to graduation, a huge opportunity awaits the talented Huff in 2011. Although the Oregon offense primarily is driven by the running game, Darron Thomas is a good passer and was a big reason why Maehl went for over 1,000 yards and 12 scores last year. Huff, meanwhile, posted 19 catches for 303 yards and three scores as the team's fifth-leading wideout in his true freshman season. He also added 214 yards and two scores on the ground. With Maehl and Drew Davis out of the way, Huff should build on last year's numbers.
