Quezada is a BYU transfer who will compete with Marteze Waller for the chance to replace Robbie Rouse as Fresno's workhorse runner. It seems unlikely that either will run away with the competition, so a workload split could be ahead.

Quezada struggled in 2011, running for just 298 yards (3.5 YPC) and one touchdown. He was promising in 2010, however, running for 505 yards (5.1 YPC) and five touchdowns. Expect him to bounce back a bit in 2012, particularly with BYU losing runners J.J. Di Luigi and Bryan Kariya to graduation, but the presence of Michael Alisa limits Quezada's upside.
