Suspension
August 23, 2014
Mark, who left Northwestern last week, will transfer to West Texas A&M, ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Mark withdrew after being suspended two games for violating team policy. In 2012, he rushed for 1,366 yards and was a first-team All American punt returner, but he played only three games last year because of injuries. He was granted a fifth year of eligibility, but had he transferred to an FBS school, he would have needed a waiver to play in 2014 and not sit out a year. He said he explored several FBS schools in and around Texas but apparently could not get a waiver. Mark said he chose Division II West Texas A&M because it is close to his mother and grandmother, who both have health issues.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2014
2013
Mark played in just three games last season due to hamstring and ankle injuries and was given a medical redshirt to return for a fifth year. He could be Northwestern's primary running back if healthy. Mark rushed for 1,366 yards in 2012 and was a first-team All American punt returner, so he could be a sleeper if the Wildcats can get their offense back on track after last season's disappointing performance.
Mark is a former wide receiver who showed in 2012 that he without a doubt has the skills to excel at running back, giving Northwestern its first functional running game since 2008. Despite a late season injury derailing him for a couple games, Mark finished 2012 with a remarkable box score featuring 1,366 yards (6.0 YPC) and 12 carries on the ground, 104 yards and a touchdown receiving, and two punt return touchdowns. That's a very high standard to live up to, though, and with Northwestern replacing most of its offensive line, it's probably best to expect some regression in Mark's 2013 stats.
