LaDarius Perkins

Perkins emerged as the featured back last season after backing up Vick Ballard in 2011. Perkins rushed for 1,024 yards and eight scores and also added two receiving touchdowns. He started the season off strong, rushing for over 100 yards in four of the team’s first seven games (all victories) but struggled against the cream of the SEC crop, failing to top 50 yards in losses to Alabama, Texas A&M and Ole Miss. With the exception of Oklahoma State in Week 1, the early portion of the Bulldogs’ 2013 schedule appears fairly manageable again, but consecutive games against South Carolina, Texas A&M, Alabama, Arkansas and Ole Miss to conclude the season will certainly pose a challenge.
