AMERICAN ATHLETIC
Will Worth, QB, Navy: Worth gives you the chance to start an additional running back in your fantasy lineup every week. In a 45-28 win over Memphis on Saturday, Worth rushed for 201 yards and three touchdowns to give the quarterback nine rushing scores on the season. This week, Navy plays a South Florida team who just gave up 319 rushing yards in a loss at Temple. Worth should keep chugging along Friday night.
Ben Hicks, QB, SMU: SMU pulled off a surprising win over Houston on Saturday and the play of their freshman quarterback was a big reason why. Hicks threw three touchdowns and rushed for another in the 38-16 win at home. This week, SMU plays Tulane who just gave up 50 points in a loss to Tulsa. With NFL prospect Courtland Sutton at wide receiver, Hicks can throw at least a couple of touchdowns this week.
ACC
Cole Hikutini, TE, Louisville: It's hard to recommend anyone not named Lamar Jackson in the Louisville offense because the Heisman frontrunner can break a long run from anywhere. Hikutini had his best game of the season against NC State while catching six passes for 118 yards and a touchdown Saturday. The senior tight end should keep rolling against a pitiful Virginia pass defense this week.
Travon McMillian, RB, Virginia Tech: McMillian posted a season-high 131 yards on 18 carries in a win over Miami on Thursday night. It's been a slow start to the

The senior tight end should keep rolling against a pitiful Virginia pass defense this week.
Travon McMillian, RB, Virginia Tech: McMillian posted a season-high 131 yards on 18 carries in a win over Miami on Thursday night. It's been a slow start to the season for a guy who ran for 1,042 yards and seven touchdowns during his freshman season in 2015. With a tough slate in the ACC this week, take a shot on McMillian who goes up against a Pittsburgh team Thursday that is giving up 31.4 points per game.
BIG 12
Kyle Hicks, RB, TCU: Hicks hasn't had that huge game this season which probably means he's available in most leagues. He's been extremely consistent with his touches though, with double-digit carries in every game and at least three catches in six of seven games. TCU plays Texas Tech this week, a team that is absolutely horrible defensively. Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon had over 200 yards rushing and 100 yards receiving en route to a five touchdown night against the Red Raiders on Saturday.
Taj Williams, WR, TCU: Because Texas Tech gave up over 800 yards of offense to Oklahoma on Saturday, I'm all in on the waiver wire for Horned Frogs this week. Despite Kenny Hill and TCU being in an offensive funk, Williams should have a breakout game. In his past two games, Williams has only three catches for 53 yards, so it's very possible he's available on the waiver wire.
BIG TEN
Trace McSorley, QB, Penn State: I fully expect stud running back Saquon Barkley to go off this week against Purdue's suspect defense, but that doesn't mean McSorley won't receive his fair share of opportunities as well. In the Nittany Lions' last two games, McSorley has 37 rushes for 144 yards and two touchdowns. If Penn State was able to put up 24 points on Ohio State in an upset win Saturday, they should be able to put up at least 30 or 40 against Purdue.
Levern Jacobs, WR, Maryland: Jacobs had his best game with 10 catches for 82 yards versus Minnesota two weeks ago which was attributed to the Terrapins making a quarterback change to Tyrrell Pigrome. Well, they went back to Perry Hills on Saturday and Jacobs still led the team with nine catches for 67 yards and a touchdown. If you're in need of a wideout, take a chance on Jacobs who gets an Indiana squad who has struggled on defense in three straight losses.
CONFERENCE USA
All Louisiana Tech Players: I'm running out of Bulldogs players to recommend, so go out and get QB Ryan Higgins, RB Jarred Craft, WR Carlos Henderson, WR Trent Taylor or even reserve RB Boston Scott if they are available. Louisiana Tech will play Rice this week who has one of the worst defenses in the nation. They somehow gave up 44 points to Prairie View A&M on Saturday.
Alex McGough, QB, FIU: It would be easy to recommend Middle Tennessee skill position players because they put up 51 points on Missouri's SEC defense. However, I'll take the opposite approach and go with McGough who will need to throw a lot to keep up with Middle Tennessee this week. In each of the Panthers' last three games, McGough has thrown at least 31 passes and two touchdowns.
MAC
Van Edwards, RB, Akron: Edwards posted season highs of 16 carries for 112 yards with a touchdown in Saturday's win over Ball State. Luckily for him, this week's opponent, Buffalo, has one of the worst rush defenses in the nation. Edwards could rush for his second 100-yard game of the season Thursday.
Joel Bouagnon, RB, Northern Illinois: The MAC will debut their famous Tuesday night games on Nov. 1 , meaning they have a small slate for the upcoming weekend. After a correct recommendation of quarterback Anthony Maddie last week (five total touchdowns), go out and pick up Bouagnon for Tuesday against a horrible Bowling Green defense that is giving up over 215 yards per game on the ground.
MOUNTAIN WEST
Tyrone Owens, RB, New Mexico: I recommended Owens last week and I'm on him again after the sophomore converted nine carries into 171 yards and a touchdown. Hawaii gives up a ton of yards on the ground, meaning the Warriors will have have a hard time stopping the dynamic duo of Teriyon Gipson and Owens.
Cedrick Wilson, WR, Boise State: In his last three games played, Wilson has 15 catches for 281 yards and five touchdowns. Studs Jeremy McNichols and Thomas Sperbeck are probably already owned in most fantasy leagues, so get the next best thing in Wilson when the Broncos play a vulnerable Wyoming pass defense that gives up near 300 passing yards a game.
PAC-12
Kalen Ballage, RB, Arizona State: Remember when Ballage scored eight touchdowns against Texas Tech on Sept. 10? In his five games following the breakout performance, the junior had only one more touchdown before scoring another against Washington State on Saturday. This week, Arizona State will travel to play Oregon who is statistically the worst defense in all of college football. They're particularly bad against the run while giving up 248.4 yards per game which means Ballage can get back to scoring multiple touchdowns.
Joe Williams, RB, Utah: Williams quit football a month ago before returning two weeks later due to Utah's depth problems at the running back position. After rushing for 174 yards and a touchdown at Oregon State, Williams went off at UCLA with 29 carries for a school-record 332 yards and four touchdowns. I don't love his matchup at Washington this week, but his production over the last two weeks cannot be ignored. He will have matchups against Arizona State (Nov. 10) and Oregon (Nov. 19) which makes him at the very least worth a roster stash.
SEC
Benjamin Snell Jr, RB, Kentucky: The Wildcats appear to like what they have with their freshman running back as Snell had 19 carries for 128 yards and a touchdown versus Mississippi State on Saturday. It was the fourth time this season that Snell received at least 16 carries. In those games, he has a total of six touchdowns. Teammate Stanley Williams will likely get his carries too, but there's plenty of room for them to both produce against a bad Missouri defense this week.
Kamryn Pettway, RB, Auburn: Pettway had a two-game stretch for the ages with 66 carries for 361 yards (5.5 ypc) and five touchdowns versus Mississippi State and Arkansas. It shouldn't end this week when Auburn travels to play a Mississippi defense that was wrecked by LSU's Leonard Fournette for 284 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries.
SUN BELT
Warren Wand, RB, Arkansas State: Wand has received double-digit carries in every game this season and gets to play a UL-Monroe defense that is giving up almost 300 rushing yards per game. The Red Wolves are coming off a bye and Wand has only one 100-yard rushing performance to go along with three total touchdowns, so he's likely available for this week.
Xavier Brown, WR, UL-Monroe: With four teams on a bye and New Mexico State playing at Texas A&M, it's a small slate in the Sun Belt this week. For that reason, I'll stick in the same game and go with Brown who is the Warhawks' best chance when it comes to scoring touchdowns. Arkansas State's defense isn't great and Brown has three touchdowns on the season.
