The Elks confirmed that Saulsberry, 25, passed away Saturday.

ANALYSIS
Saulsberry was shot in the abdomen and leg near Memphis, Tennessee early Saturday morning and died while en route to the hospital. He saw his first CFL action in 2022 with eight appearances for the Elks and was named the team's Most Outstanding Special Teams Player.
