October 17, 2024
Degenhart is the 2024-25 Mountain West Preseason Player of the Year, TheMW.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Boise State's 2024-25 season will be Degenhart's fourth and likely last year as a collegiate athlete. He steadily improved across his first three seasons, culminating with a junior year that included him averaging 16.7 points while shooting 50.3 percent from the field and 79.1 percent from the free-throw line. Degenhart's other junior averages include 6.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.1 steals across 32 games he started. He was Boise State's lone representative of the 2023-24 All-Mountain West First Team and is expected to carry the load for a 2024-25 Broncos team ranked atop its conference's preseason poll.
