Headed for NBA

Evbuomwan announced Wednesday that he will forgo his remaining collegiate eligibility to enter the 2023 NBA Draft, Jonathan Givony of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
After having spent four seasons at Princeton, Evbuomwan wasn't eligible to return to the Tigers in 2023-24 due to Ivy League rules, but the 6-foot-8 forward would have the option of transferring to another school and playing out his fifth year of eligibility elsewhere. However, rather than going that route, Evbuomwan appears ready to get his professional career underway coming off a season in which he took home Ivy League Player of the Year honors while leading Princeton to upsets of No. 2 seed Arizona and No. 7 seed Missouri in the NCAA tournament. He averaged 15.1 points, 6.3 boards, 4.9 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.6 blocks in 31.4 minutes per game over 32 starts as a senior.
