Officially leaving for pro ranks
Nembhard told Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports on Monday that he'll sign with an agent and keep his name in the 2021 NBA Draft, forgoing his remaining eligibility at TCU.
ANALYSIS
All signs had been pointing toward Nembhard bypassing a fifth and final year of eligibility to enter the professional ranks, but the 6-foot-5 guard didn't make his decision to leave school official until he signed with an agent. As a redshirt junior in 2020-21, Nembhard was the Horned Frogs' top perimeter threat, finishing with averages of 15.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.5 three-pointers and 1.1 steals in 34.9 minutes per game over 24 appearances.
