Ngongba, a 6-foot-11 center from Virginia, has suffered a foot injury that will sideline him for an undisclosed length of time. The true freshman big man, a top-25 recruit in the class of 2024, may have to wait a bit to make his collegiate debut with the Blue Devils. Duke will open the 2024-25 season against Maine on Nov. 4, following a set of exhibition games against Lincoln University and ASU on Oct 19 and 27, respectively.
