Poplar finished with 18 points (6-10 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds and one steal over 36 minutes during Wednesday's 68-66 win over UConn.
ANALYSIS
Poplar has been on a roll as of late, scoring double-digit points in seven of Nova's last eight games, and 17 or more in all but two of those matchups. The senior guard's efforts were no different against a tough Huskies squad, as he popped three shots behind the arc and ended with 18 points in the eventual two-point victory margin. If he continues to play like he's been playing alongside star forward Eric Dixon, the Wildcats could be a legit Big East contender moving forward.
