Bolts for draft
GArizona
April 7, 2020
Mannion announced Tuesday via his personal Twitter account that he'll forgo his final three seasons at Arizona to enter the 2020 NBA Draft.
ANALYSIS
A potential lottery pick, the 6-foot-3 point guard told Evan Daniels of 247Sports.com that he'll keep his name in the draft past the June 3 deadline to withdraw and sign with an agent in the coming days. A five-star prospect coming out of high school, Mannion mostly lived up that billing during his lone season at Arizona, averaging 14.0 points, 5.3 assists, 2.5 rebounds, 1.7 three-pointers and 1.2 steals in 32.3 minutes. Georgetown transfer James Akinjo is the leading candidate to replace Mannion as the Wildcats' starting point guard in 2020-21.
