Perkins had 17 points (7-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-7 FT) and 10 rebounds through 33 minutes in Sunday's 58-78 loss to Texas Tech.
ANALYSIS
Perkins was the most effective offensive option the Bulls were able to present against a team that sports the best defense in the country by many accounts. He showed that a skilled big man can potentially give the Red Raiders troubles, but it didn't matter given the lack of consistent guard play and outside shooting in this one. While the run with Buffalo didn't end the way Perkins likely wanted, he'll finish his collegiate career on a high note with back-to-back double-doubles in the two most important games of the year. Despite never being a fixture in the starting five during his time at Buffalo, Perkins will end his four-year run with 1,700-plus points and 600-plus rebounds.
