Nathan Hoover

GuardG
Scores team-high 19 in elimination
GWofford
March 24, 2019
Hoover had 19 points (6-9 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT) and two rebounds through 34 minutes in Saturday's NCAA Tournament loss to Kentucky.
ANALYSIS
Hoover has improved his scoring average in each season with the program, finishing his junior year with a mark of 13.4 PPG. He led the Terriers in scoring on a day where top dog Fletcher Magee struggled (0-for-12 3 PT), showing he can potentially carry the backcourt in 2019-20 after Magee moves on from the program. Wofford will return point guard Storm Murphy as well, but post player and second-leading scorer Cameron Jackson will also be graduating, so the team has a tough road to make it back to the NCAA Tournament next season.
