Pursuing professional options
CWisconsin
March 27, 2021
Potter announced Wednesday via his personal Twitter account that he has elected to forgo his remaining year of eligibility at Wisconsin to pursue professional opportunities.
ANALYSIS
With Potter ending his collegiate career and Nate Reuvers entering the transfer portal Friday, Wisconsin will have to replace both of its top two centers heading into 2021-22. The inexperienced Steven Crowl and Joe Hedstrom are the next men up at the position, but look for Wisconsin to evaluate incoming transfers to help fortify the center spot. Potter wrapped up his fifth and final season of college basketball with averages of 12.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.3 three-pointers in 22.2 minutes per contest.
