Draft-bound after tourney heroics
Nowell announced Wednesday via his personal Twitter account that he will forgo his remaining eligibility at Kansas State to enter the 2023 NBA Draft.

Nowell's five-year run in college officially came to an end less than a week ago, when Kansas State fell to Florida Atlantic in the Elite Eight. The 5-foot-8 guard was exceptional throughout the Wildcats' four tournament games, averaging 23.5 points, 13.5 assists, 4.0 steals, 3.5 rebounds and 3.3 three-pointers in 40.0 minutes per contest. At 5-foot-8 and 160 pounds, Nowell is undersized for the NBA level, but his skills as a playmaker and his sticky on-ball defense could be enough for a team to use a second-round pick on him or sign him to a two-way deal if he goes undrafted.
