Kegler has elected to forgo his final two seasons of college eligibility and will turn professional after Baylor suspended him from the program indefinitely Monday, CJ Moore of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The circumstances surrounding his suspension are unknown, but Kegler evidently determined that working toward reinstatement at Baylor or exploring his options at another school weren't tenable options. Kegler, who previously began his college career at Mississippi State before moving on to Baylor, averaging 10.5 points and 5.8 rebounds while starting all 28 games during his lone season with the Bears.
