Foster committed to Xavier on Wednesday, per Joe Tipton of On3.com.
ANALYSIS
After considering commitments to either California or Indiana, Foster selected Xavier because "it felt like the right fit" for him. Based on his decision, the Musketeers wanted an experienced replacement in place of redshirt senior Quincy Olivari, their 2023-24 season's best player. It makes sense that Xavier wanted Foster, considering he and Olivari are much alike. Physically, both are 200-pound guards only one inch off each other in terms of height. Before committing to Xavier, they were great scorers and rebounders for their previous team. Foster averaged 17.0 points and 7.5 rebounds across his 24 games started during Furman's 2023-24 season.
