Murray announced Tuesday via his personal Twitter account that he will forgo his remaining eligibility at Iowa to enter the 2022 NBA Draft.

Murray made a spectacular leap as a sophomore in 2021-22, emerging as one of the four finalists for the Naismith Award after averaging 23.5 points, 8.7 points, 1.9 blocks, 1.9 three-pointers, 1.5 assists and 1.3 steals in 31.9 minutes per game for the Hawkeyes. Unsurprisingly, Murray will choose to leave for the professional ranks on the heels of the big season, leaving a major void at forward for Iowa entering the 2022-23 campaign.
