Declares for draft
Davis announced Wednesday that he will forgo his remaining eligibility at Wisconsin to enter the 2022 NBA Draft, Evan Flood of 247Sports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
After handling a minor bench role as a true freshman in 2020-21, Davis emerged as a star for the Badgers as a sophomore, averaging 19.7 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.2 steals per contest. A smooth operator with the ball in his hands with an excellent mid-range shot, Davis showed the kind of skill set that could be enough for him to land in the draft lottery. With Davis moving on to the NBA and Brad Davison having exhausted his eligibility, Wisconsin will have to break in two new starters at the wing positions in 2022-23.
