Shead's last appearance in a game came six weeks ago in the first meeting with California. Head coach Kyle Smith has previously said that Shead could be out the remainder of the campaign and now it is looking like that will likely be the case. With just four games remaining on the Cougars' regular-season schedule and Washington State unlikely to have an extended post-season slate, the senior point guard is running out of opportunities to return.
