Jalen Hawkins

Tarleton State marks the seventh stop for Hawkins, who will be entering his seventh season in college in 2023-24. He began his career at Indian Hills Community College in 2017-18 before moving to Moberly Area Community College that same academic year, but he didn't suit up for either school. He then headed to another JuCo program in Odessa College for his redshirt freshman season in 2018-19 before making the jump to Division I with Robert Morris in 2019-20. After that, Hawkins spent two seasons at Norfolk State prior to a one-year stopover at Morehead State, where he played in just six games in 2022-23 due to injury. Over his four seasons of Division I college basketball to date, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound guard has averaged 9.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.1 three-pointers and 1.0 steals in 21.7 minutes per game over 87 appearances (15 starts).
